Our very first Farm Work Party of the year is scheduled for January 18th, from 9:30am-12:30pm, so mark your calendars. During this work day we will be doing something really exciting, something I have been wanting to do since the very first moment I stepped foot on this campus…planting trees! We will be planting 40+ new bare root trees all over campus! I hope you will be able to join us because many hands will make light work. We will be using ourvolts.com to manage volunteer projects.
Please click on this link to sign up at ourvolts.com so that we know how many are coming. Parents who have registered an account with ourvolts can later easily log in their volunteer hours.

After weeks and weeks of work, the Fourth Grade finished the chicken house! The first dozen members of our new flock hesitatingly left their brooding enclosure, cautiously made their way down the darling ramp that was lovingly hammered together by the Aftercare students, and began pecking away at the ground around their new home. Thank you Mrs. Waskowiak for inspiring your wonderful 4th Graders with this magnificent project, tthank you Fourth Grade Parents for the loving way your supported Mrs. Waskowiak's wild plan, and thank you Grandpa Mustache and Mad Dog Mike for helping with the fencing and netting. Through all of your hard work, designing, loading and unloading, searching for discounted supplies, hammering and painting, our chickens have the most beautiful coop in Napa! No bring on the eggs! Thank you Tim Dewey-Mattia for arranging the donation of 200 yards of organic compost for our vines and crop field. With your generous gift we will begin building up our soil in the vineyards and crop field and preparing the ground for a luscious winter cover crop!
